Robert Currie has over 30 years of experience with early-stage technology companies including Loquat, Universal Audio, Dash Navigation/Blackberry, Strangeberry/TiVo, Marimba/BMC, and Digidesign/Avid across fintech, distributed systems, signal processing, and geospatial navigation.

Over the last decade, his focus has been on AI applied to genomics and population health, serving as CTO and later Fellow at the UCSC Genomics Institute, and as Chief Enterprise Architect for AI at Elevance/Anthem.

Rob holds a BS with honors in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and an MBA with high honors from University of Chicago Booth.
